researching, sketching, and making
Ah, 2014. This year has been tremendous for me. In terms of growth, creative expression, and risk-taking I have learned a lot about myself and the world around me. And most importantly, this year I focused on making the choice to be happy in every moment possible instead of waiting for the happiness unicorn to appear in the sky and fall on my head.
I started the year with many goals, but there were two that I really wanted to work on: making time to make stuff (remember #letsmakestuff2014?) and following my gut. The result of both led me to that place of feeling really good. I learned that we all know what we want or where we want to be. We already know what gives us joy. We just have to listen so we can hear it all. Listening to that intuition, that space that speaks to us and tells all the time reminded me that I need to make stuff in order to thrive. By listening then doing I've found my space, my corner, my voice.
As 2014 comes to a close I would like to say thank you for your time and support. I appreciate you everyday. Whether here, on the FB page, or IG I always look forward to connecting with you.
I wish you all a wonderful end to your 2014 and a huge cheers to your 2015. May this new year bring you all that makes you smile and good creative challenges and opportunities that make you grow and evolve. See you next year!
