Yesterday was the first Pop & Fly Portfolio Review and the sold out event was a hit.
We were in the fabulous Skai Blue Show showroom surrounded by cool art and clothing designed by local designers from the Philadelphia region as well as New York.
Before getting down to business we were munching on snacks and sipping beverages from sponsors; including lovely mini-cheesecakes from Cake Boulangerie and drinks from Bai.
It was an evening of quick 15 minute portfolio reviews, and I have to say hearing the buzzing chatter about design and design feedback was exhilarating. I was a little jealous that I was not reviewing portfolios, because from what I could see there was some amazing work being shared.
The energy was great and I had so much fun meeting young talent, as well as catching up with my designer friends who all came out to share their professional eyes.
