As mentioned before I was selected to be a Gap Brand Enthusiast which means I get to try new products from the Gap and share them with you, if I love them. The first major obligation as a Gap Brand Enthusiast is to throw a Born to Fit jean party, where my girlfriends get to try on their latest jean creations.
Saturday was my party and let me tell you it was too fun to watch my friends try on these jeans. First there was food and drinks and catching up. Then I explained what was in store. Gap sent over three new styles under the Born to Fit label: Real Straight, Always Skinny, and Sexy Boot Cut. We all had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to try and that was the skinny. Although we adored the skinny, we fell in love with the Real Straight. Here's a little more info about our thoughts on the jeans:
Sexy Boot Cut - very nice wash, the fit was indeed sexy, but somehow I was sent long versions of the jeans, and most of us are on the shorter side so I have tons of these left (which means jeans to giveaway!). Otherwise, they are cute.
Real Straight - My faves! The wash is great and the style is super flattering for various body types. And we all agreed, with our different booty sizes these jeans made all of our butts look good.
Always Skinny - Another fave. The wash is a dark denim, a classic denim color, they have nice flattering details on the back pockets, and although not every body type can pull off a skinny these were a pretty good fit on everyone.
So no more spending hundreds of dollars on expensive jeans. It's not necessary, the quality of these jeans are totally up to par. We admired the details and loved the texture of the jeans, none of that thin cheapy stuff you can find in other not-to-be mentioned stores.
Gap sent over some fun goodies to make the party festive. Gap themed M&M's, popcorn, and reusable bags were wonderful party gifts to take home along with the new pair of jeans each guest received. They also sent over a digital camera and Flip camera for me to film the girls. So you know I had to do a webisode!! Take a look for yourself of how we felt about the new jeans.
