Say hello to Fly's 100th FGOTW!
Who? Joy Jones, 33 (but I’ve mastered the Benjamin Button method, so I plan to hover around this age for awhile!)
Where? I live in Los Angeles.
What do you do? I am a singer/songwriter/producer as well as an occasional culinary genius, scientist and inventor of superfluous things, lover and dreamer. At the moment, I am trying to invent this thing called the “Showpod 7000” that I can take on tour with me to perform on (I’ll be touring in support of my debut album entitled Godchild), if I could figure out how to make it levitate, I would be golden!
What inspires you? I am inspired by my senses. I love to create things that I can hear, see, feel, taste and experience spiritually. I also love all things creative and artsy!
Why am I fly? Since there is only a little bit of space, I will narrow it down to why I think that I am fly today. (babysteps, you know) So, I am fly because:
1. I am addicted to learning and creating! (I finally got my Flinstonian self on Twitter and Facebook!)
2. I have been vegan for 2 weeks now!
3. I am training for a mini-triathlon (pray church!)
4. I learned how to build a website (still working on it) but quite proud of it.
Advice: Never pay full price. Drink water. Follow your dreams. Take Naps. Journal. Plant a garden. Find a way to get paid, just for being yourself! Oh, and laugh as much and as hard as you can!
