Food photographs from Kerry Kolenut. I love the colors in each of them, they remind me of vintage cookbook food photographs from the 70. The ones where the food doesn't really look that appetizing, except these ones feel more painterly and beautiful.

Who? Ebony David, 27
Where? Currently reside in Jersey City, NJ but have lived in Maryland, Northern Va.,Germany, Seoul, NYC
What do you do? I am a full time mom of 4 little ones! Since 04 I have maintained an Indie Fashion blog Nuvany Ni'ce. It initially started out of my love for shopping and finding great deals and has evolved tremendously along the way. I also sell new, used and vintage clothing/accessories on the blog. I'm currently planning to re-launch the blog with a fresh new look and more global fashion content.
What inspires you? Other women that are self-made and have created their own destiny. For a long while I felt trapped and unfulfilled in my life. I had lost my identity in motherhood and being a wife. But in the past year or so I have come across some amazing women that have taught me how vital it is to have balance in my life and that it is still okay to DO ME too!
Why are you fly? I'm fly because I am strong.unconditional.compassionate.hilarious.stylish.

More illustrations from Damien Correll. Definitely check out his site, if you scroll down to the very bottom there are some fun designs he did for the New York Magazine. I'm really diggin' graphic colors paired with duo-tone photography.

Here are some things I'm really diggin' right now:
1. Vintage long strap purses - from my mother's closet 2. PBS' Art: 21 - I've been watching this while I sketch and it's creatively inspirational 3. Creamed Honey - I love honey in general but this version of it is nice and non-messy 4. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer - great light cream for your face and non-greasy 5. Triple Five Soul Parka - I've been wanting one of these for almost seven years and finally got one in mauve for my birthday
