I'm finally in Philadelphia and I must say I am really happy to be back. I lived here for five years when I was in undergrad and Philly has truly become a second home to me. Now I'm just trying to settle in and focus on unpacking, meanwhile bringing new posts to Fly. Below is a little collage showing some things that come to mind when I think of Philly. It's the hometown of Miss Patti Labelle, Eve, and QuestLove. It's the only place you should ever buy a cheesesteak, you can visit the Liberty Bell, catch Donovan McNabb play for the Eagles, and learn all the fascinating things about Mr. Ben Franklin (Zzzzz...sorry Ben no disrespect). These are only the tip of the iceberg, what comes to mind when you think of Philadelphia? Musiq Soulchild? Philly Soul Music? The home of the everlasting Tasty Cake? Tell me I wanna know!
