Last night I went with a co-worker to an art show called Night of 1,000 Drawings at the Artists Space in SoHo (wow, I've been down there a lot lately, hmmm). This is an annual benefit that showcases donated drawings and photographs which are sold for either $35 or $65 depending on size. The money is used to benefit Artists Space's art programs. I thought some were really beautiful and others were...um, interesting. It was definitely cool to see such a range of work in so many colors and styles side by side in this beautiful space.
