Here are some artsy fun things I've been drooling over lately:
Kenesha Sneed of Tactile Matter has such a breath-taking portfolio of artwork, accessories, and ceramics, but most recently I've fallen in love with how she brings some of her illustrations to life in the form of these ceramic beauties. I want all of them. Also check out some of her lovely illustrations below.
The coloring book scene is still going strong and the market is flooded with so many options, many of the same options. So I drawn to the ones that come from fellow artists and ones that have unexpected themes. Which puts Upping the Aunty Colouring Book by Meera Sethi right up my alley.
I've been following Meera Sethi's work for some time and have always enjoyed seeing her gorgeous paintings and illustrations inspired by the South Indian diaspora. Upping the Aunty Colouring Book is an extension of her solo exhibition that celebrates the style and fashions of the South Indian aunty.
Another artist I'm following is Akujixxv. There's a sweet simplicity to her illustration style that always seem to take our gaze far away from the subject.
Who's work are you drooling over?
