I am so incredibly thankful for you. The support and positive energy you have shared over the years is appreciated everyday. Thank you and wishing you and your family a lovely Thanksgiving.
I am also grateful for young people who are enthusiastic about learning and being able to see the world beyond their daily limitations. As we celebrate what we're thankful for, I'd like to share this video about a young man who has inspired me. I am thankful for him.

There's some wonderful talent coming out of Malaysia. A few months ago I shared Yuna, whom I had on repeat for a while; now I'm equally enjoying the sounds of singer/songwriter/ukuleleist Zee Avi. I'm diggin' her sophomore album, Ghostbird, which is an eclectic mix of pop and folk flavors topped off with the tones of her sweet beautiful voice. I'm especially loving the upbeat flow in the track called "The Book of Morris Johnson." Take a listen and let me know what you think.
Have a great weekend. And to my fellow east coasters recovering from Hurricane Sandy many prayers and good light to you.
I love when all the things I love come together in one place to make a beautiful piece of art. Like the styling and art direction in Solange's music video for "Losing You." Because of the pattern mixes and color, barbershop signs and tailored looks inspired by The Gentlemen of Bacongo, this video makes me happy.
I was drawn to the pops of reds dancing throughout the muted vibe of the video.
These items came to mind when thinking about the warmer colors in the video.
