Part 1: Be creative with your 9 to 5, take a class.
So you have a full-time job. Some of you may love what you're doing and some of you are bored out of your mind. If it isn't the work that leaves you running for the door at the end of the day, it's the mere fact that you feel confined to your gray cubicle for hours on end. You don't feel challenged or creative and you wish you could just do something different.
Even though you frequent several job sites you only come across opportunities not related to your field. You feel like you don't have any other options. Sadly, with the state of the economy you find it hard to even think about complaining, out loud at least. You feel lucky, blessed, and grateful to have a steady income when so many others around you are struggling, so you bite your tongue, smile and do what you have to do.
Well if you're feeling like this then it's extra important to be creative with what you have: your livelihood, your 9 to 5. Here are some tips to make the most of your current situation. There are a few so I'll be breaking them up over the next three weeks. Here's part one.
