If you visit Fly regularly you know I don't usually post about celebrities but this right here is a needed exception. I was checking out The YBF and came across these wonderful photos of Solange and was blown away. I already thought she was a beautiful girl, then when I saw her initial haircut photos I was even more impressed. But these right here are AMAZING. Solange looks great!
The blogs and media have been pretty brutal with Solange's music career and her sense of style, and recently her very short haircut has caused a lot of negative buzz. Well, if I may voice my own opinion I think that this move is very courageous and über fabulous. Deciding to rock a natural do, especially a short version, can be difficult for anyone, period. To be in an industry where the opposite is considered to be more beautiful I can imagine it's even more difficult for a celebrity to decide to go in this direction. So big up to Solange for being fabulously Fly, for really standing out of the sea of sameness and for doing what she wants for whatever reason. (And I loved her album too.)
