As mentioned before I am guest blogging on DesignWorkLife today and one of the features is of artist Corriette Schoenaerts. Love her installations, including these maps made of clothes and type made of found elements. See more Fly posts on DesignWorkLife here.
I've been neglecting the graphic designer in me by not doing posts on design. Shame on me. So when I was invited to be a guest blogger on my favorite design blog I felt extremely honored and excited to get back into my design blogging. See who did this amazing work below and more on DesignWorkLife.
What do you do? I am the designer at House Industries
I design the catalogs, most printed material, products, accessories and
stuff for the website. When I'm not sitting behind a computer I like to
sew, draw, sketch and ink. I am currently working on my own online shop to sell handmade apparel, prints and accessories.
Why are you fly? I don't drink, don't smoke, use drugs or eat meat (not that I hold it
against people who do). I try to live day-to-day free of hassle while
treating the earth, my self, and others with respect — even if it means
occasionally being called a nerd.
What inspires you? Folk art, astrology, animals, hand-cut traps, psychedelic lettering, Photo-Lettering, 60s/70s craft kits.
