My favorite restaurant in Philadelphia is Alma de Cuba. The Cuban fusion dishes are to die for and the mojitos are yum. My favorite entree is the vaca frita ("fried cow") which is so tender and flavorful and the beans, rice and avocado come together to create delicious mix of flavors. Roasted peppers stuffed with crabmeat as an appetizer, and a huge side of plantains make the entire meal perfect. P.S. they used to have this incredible coconut lobster ceviche that was an Alma de Cuba favorite. Why the chef removed it from the menu is a huge mystery to me!!!!
