Garden Inspiration

Whenever I visit my mother during the spring and summer she cannot wait to show me her garden. Before I can even put down my little traveling bag she's already leading me to the backyard so I can see the herbs and vegetables that are coming in nicely. I'm always pleasantly surprised to see what new little goodies she's got planted back there. Last year was the mint (which has come in handy for our homemade mojitos) and this year her strawberries have finally come in. I love strawberries so I couldn't wait for the little snack.

I'm always inspired by stories of how businesses got started, especially fashion or art related ones. I enjoyed watching and hearing the slideshow featuring the designers behind Foley + Corinna on the The New York Times website.
